Frequently Asked Questions
How do you use DrumCare360 brush?
Wet the brush with water or your preferred cleaning solution. Gently pull back the rubber gasket and insert DrumCare360 so the bristles reach the space behind the seal. Press the brush against the rubber gasket and make a full 360-degree swipe around the entire gasket to loosen and remove grime.
Next, press the brush against the drum and rotate the drum a full 360 degrees, continuing until the area under the drum is clean to your satisfaction. Use steady pressure and repeat passes as needed.
Use the brush to clean the detergent drawer as well: scrub thoroughly inside each compartment, paying special attention to corners, edges, and the siphon tubes where black mold commonly accumulates. Rinse or wipe away loosened residue and let all parts dry before reassembling.
How often do you replace the DrumCare360 brush?
Silicone brushes can last longer than nylon but should be replaced when bristles break or become too frayed.
The brush is designed to be durable and flexible due to its TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material. While it is soft and flexible, excessive force beyond normal use could potentially cause it to deform or break. However, under typical cleaning conditions, it should withstand regular pressure without breaking.
Will the brush break if too much force is used while cleaning?
How do you clean the brush?
To clean the DrumCare360 brush, rinse it well with warm water to remove soap or dirt. Use mild soap if needed, and gently rub the bristles with your fingers to clear trapped grime and regain shape of bristles. Rinse again until the water is clear. The bristles are made of silicone, which does not harbor mold. This innovative material choice ensures that the cleaning tool remains hygienic and odor-free, effectively preventing the buildup of mold and mildew in hard-to-reach areas behind washing machine gaskets. Silicone’s durability and resistance to moisture make DrumCare360 a reliable and long-lasting solution for maintaining a clean and fresh washing machine. Cleaning it regularly keeps it working well and lasts longer.
Is the brush designed universal to clean all washing machines?
The DrumCare360 brush is designed with a universal fit in mind, making it effective for cleaning the hard-to-reach areas behind the gaskets of most front-load washing machines and between the balance ring and drum of top-load washing machines. Its flexible, patented design adapts to various gasket sizes and shapes, ensuring thorough cleaning and odor elimination across a wide range of models.
I am Amber Bourque, the inventor and creator of DrumCare360 by BacJac. It all started on that fateful day, Friday, March 13, 2020, when the world shut down due to COVID-19. My children had friends sleeping over, completely unaware of how much our world was about to change. We were happy that school was postponed for a few weeks, giving us time to enjoy life together. There was lots of fun, swimsuits, towels, and then, inevitably, the need to do laundry.
At midnight, when everyone was asleep, I went to load another batch of clothes into our front-load washing machine. Suddenly, water started spilling from the bottom front left of the machine. It was clear the machine needed to be cleaned. Tired and frustrated, I had to clean up the excess water immediately. I decided to wipe the rubber gasket and remove debris with my finger and an antibacterial wipe, and of course, I cut my finger as usual.
That night, I went to bed determined to create a tool that could clean behind the rubber gasket safely and effectively. Weeks turned into months as our entire family remained at home, and my creativity kicked into overdrive.
The name BacJac comes from my kids’ initials because they are the ones I am always cleaning for. Ironically, the key to removing the smelly buildup lies behind the back of the gasket. This inspired the clever phrase: "Get behind the back, Jack." Combining their initials and this slogan gave birth to the brand—BacJac, with the motto: Clean Behind the BacJac!
DrumCare360 by BacJac was created with families like mine in mind—designed to make washing machine maintenance easy, safe, and effective for every household.
